WordPress Tutorials

WordPressI created the following WordPress tutorials for my graduate educational technology classes. I use a customized version of WordPress in my classes to teach my students how to use them as classroom websites. I’ve customized the source files and database to simplify the interface, remove or disable a lot of the blogging features (since we are using this as a website and not a blog), and to make it as easy as possible for a non-techie to build and maintain a nice website. So, if you are familiar with the standard WordPress install, the screens and menus will look a little different (and in some cases a lot different), but most of the information still applies to a standard WordPress install. I’m making these available to the public as my small contribution to the WordPress community for a great piece of software. I’ll be adding more tutorials in the near future with hopes of building a comprehenisve video library. I hope you find them useful.
