Saturday, May 31, 2008 is the required town meeting for all students enrolled in courses for Summer II. An agenda is attached.
Students new to the program are requested to attend the New Student Orientation at 9:30 am in Asher Science Center.
ALL LBD students must attend one of the two LBD group meetings: 10:15-10:45 or 10:45 -11:15 am.

LBD Fall-Winter Registration
All registration for Fall-Winter 2008 will be handled through your LBD advisor. Your advisor will contact you in May to confirm the course information that you projected for Fall-Winter when you submitted your pre-registration information for Summer 2008. If you have questions, contact your advisor.
After you have met the initial admission criteria to the LBD Graduate Program, you are required to attend an advising session.
The advising sessions are listed on the attached document. Please RSVP to Dr. Proffitt at 502-863-7031 or eve_proffitt@georgetowncollege.edu of your plans to attend a session.
The Praxis Review Sessions are sessions designed to assist candidates as they take the praxis tests. If you are approaching 15 hours of coursework, you must take and pass the 0353 praxis tests. You are not required to take both tests at one time, however, you can.
The attached list is the list of dates for the Praxis review for 2007-08. It is highly recommended that you attend these sessions. If have taken either praxis tests and failed it, you must attend the next praxis practice session.

When you are entering the final phase of the LBD program, multiple questions arise regarding the graduation and portfolio process.
Thus, the attached handout Graduation Process hopefully addresses these questions. The forms for exit are not included as they must be done in the exit interview.
