We will not have our weekly meeting today due to my temporary change of position.  We will discuss chapter 4 of What Really Matters for Struggling Readers by Richard Allington next Wednesday.

No weekly meetings due to the snow day.

This month our professional development focused on two issues.  The first was a follow up to the professional development provided by Dr. Carter on November 28th.  The topic of this was Cultrually Responsive Teaching.  The other half of the professional development dealt with vocabulary in the classroom. If you would like to view those PowerPoint presentations again come see me and I will let you borrow them or I will make you a handout.

 Due to heating problems at the middle school, no school today.  Have a wonderful day!
