Today in our weekly meetings we began looking at Richard Allington’s What Really Matters for Struggling Readers.  We began by reading some quotes from Chapter One.  This chapter discussed the research behind reading instruction and what that research tells us as teachers.  We will be studying one chapter each week until we have finished the book.

No weekly meetings.  I will be at Central Office with Mrs. Haley scoring our mid-year GRADE tests.
